At Monday's Committee of the Whole meeting on January 5th, the School Board received updated cost estimates for Options 1 and 4 of the Capital Improvements Project. While these figures are preliminary and still being refined, they came in significantly higher than the original projections for both options.

Mr. Hoffman walked the Board through how these revised estimates would impact the district's financing capacity. EI Associates shared preliminary ideas to scale back the project scope to better align with the district's budget constraints.

During the discussion, several Board members emphasized the importance of exploring additional alternatives. The district remains committed to finding a solution that addresses our critical infrastructure needs while also ensuring long-term financial stability.
