Pre-K

As a Pre-K Counts recipient, West Perry School District operates prekindergarten classrooms in each of the elementary schools. Classes of approximately seventeen students are led by a teacher and paraprofessional. Students attend for 5.5 hours per day for 180 days each year. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs, interests, and developmental readiness of all children. Lessons are designed around themes in a caring, nurturing, and fun environment.

To be eligible for this program, your child must be age 4 BEFORE September 1st. No exceptions can be made.

Students are selected from applications during the enrollment process each Spring.  Priority is given to students based on family income and other risk factors. Transportation is provided.
