2020 Census

2020 Census
Census Family

The Census is required by the constitution and the United States has counted its population every 10 years since 1790. Participating in the Census is matters to ensure our voices are represented in Congress and we receive our fair share of federal funding. The census has been extended until October 31, 2020. You can submit responses until then.

In mid-March, households will begin receiving Official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 census online, by phone or by mail. When responding, you'll tell the Census Bureau where you live as of April 1, 2020.
