The West Perry High School Concert Band recently performed in the East Rotunda at the State Capitol.  The Concert Band was invited by State Representative Mark Keller and State Senator John DiSanto.

“Hearing the beautiful sound of the West Perry High School Concert Band’s performance at the Pennsylvania State Capitol on February 5th was music to my ears!  Each student did an exceptional job!” said Representative Keller.

The Concert Band provided lunch music for visitors and employees and performed for approximately an hour.  “It’s always a pleasure to showcase local talent at the Capitol, and I heard many compliments from those who had an opportunity to hear the West Perry High School Concert Band.” Shared Senator DiSanto.

The 47-member group is made up of freshman through seniors at West Perry High School and is under the direction of Band Director Matthew Wieseman.
