Dear Parents,
I will be providing Learning Support to your child throughout the school year. There are many different ways for a student to receive learning support. The delivery of service is based on an individual student's needs and his or her IEP.
Some examples of different types of service are, pull out into a small group in my classroom, a co-taught classroom in the regular education setting (with both the learning support teacher and the regular education teacher), or consultation with the regular education teacher (this option is for students that are demonstrating minimal need).
At some point during the school year, I will be contacting you to attend your child's IEP meeting. Usually, this date is based on the anniversary of the previous IEP.
